Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 1 of 8
Title:  Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 1 of 8
Description:  Date approximate. Two F's bracket three Geeps as the weekend unit train (coal) backs into Kodak on the "old" Kodak lead. L.B. Finewood is to the left across the street. The NYC is to the right. The coal has been put away and the outbounds are barely visible in the siding between McCall and the Ridge.

Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 6 of 8
Title:  Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 6 of 8
Description:  It was not uncommon for the crew to take anything for down below (Matthews & Fields, Greece Lumber, the Hojack, etc.) inside Kodak along with the cuts of coal hoppers as it was easier to sort everything in Kodak's yard and avoid crossing Ridge Rd. repeatedly. In this shot, the crew is done with Kodak and is leaving the property with a single NP boxcar for Matthews & Fields.

Title:  Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 7 of 8
Description:  The view is south from Stonewood Ave. The crew is rounding the corner past Dock Junction with the single NP boxcar for M&F. The docks have been closed for a couple of years and nature is starting to reclaim the unused sidings.

Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 8 of 8
Title:  Road power visits Kodak and M&F - Spring 1973 - photo 8 of 8
Description:  The view is south from Stonewood Ave. Today, only the main remains as part of the R&S, albeit in the same rickety shape with the same cinder ballast. The sidings are long gone.
