Album Info:Here are ten photos of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives, both electric and oil powered. All of them come from the collection of Mr. Raymond C. Laws of Houston, Texas. I purchased all of these photos in several eBay auctions during February and March of 2019.

Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4995, an E-3B (B-B-B) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in June of 1951, rated at 3,000 horsepower, and retired in June of 1965 after just 14 years of revenue service. Description:  Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Marysville, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1956. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9618 and two more "AF" Class units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by the American Locomotive Company. #9618 was built in May of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. They are about to cross the Rockville Bridge with an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. Raymond C. Laws Collection.

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9218, #9049, and another unit whose number is not recorded. #9218 and #9049 are both BS-6A switchers built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 660 horsepower each. #9218 was built in December of 1948 and retired in May of 1965, while #9049 was built in May of 1949 and survived into the Penn Central Railroad era.
