Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Richmond, Indiana, during the Summer of 1967. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5899 and another E-8A whose number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5899 was constructed in March of 1951. The exact date is not recorded. Raymond C. Laws Collection. |
